Dubai, the largest city in the UAE, takes lavishness to epic proportions. If that sounds like an overstatement, just look at the spectacular structures dotting the skyline. An example of this is the Burj Khalifa, whose spire stretches to pierce the skies. Indeed, Dubai has a fondness for everything tall, as some of the tallest buildings in the world are found here. Dubai also prides itself on structures like Palm Jumeirah, Cayan Tower and Dubai Fountain, all of which are examples of incredible feats of engineering. It also accommodates the traditional with the modern comfortably, with gold & spice souks standing alongside mountain sized malls. Head to Old Dubai or Bur Dubai though, and the traditional way of life can be witnessed in the historical neighborhoods and the Arabian village. However, Dubai isn’t just for adults, as the mega-themed parks, aqua-parks and others offer an array of thrilling rides which let you have a gala time!

You have the entire morning to yourself and can spend it any way you like. Then, around 2:30 – 3:00 pm, you will be received from the hotel for a desert safari in a land cruiser. A desert safari in Dubai has its own thrill and excitement, one of which is dune bashing. Dune bashing, which involves driving on sand dunes at a maximum speed, is as thrilling an activity as any. After getting your dash of adrenaline, a lavish barbecue dinner awaits you at a traditional Bedouin campsite.
Enjoy your stay in the campsite.
On this day, your tour begins with a visit to Palm Jumeirah, one of the man-made wonders which amalgamate aesthetics with size. A cluster of artificial islands, which when viewed aerially, resembles a palm tree spread out sideways. Extending far out into the sea, it makes use of futuristic engineering and exemplary vision to create a structure quite unheard and unseen of before. Here, you will also have the opportunity of a photo-shoot at the Atlantis Hotel, which is a wonder world unto itself.
The next stop is the incredible Jumeirah mosque. Built in the year 1979, it is the most photographed mosque in all of Dubai and is built in the medieval Fatimid tradition. Its beauty is magnified a thousand times at night when it is illuminated. The tour continues with a drive towards the popular Sheikh Zayed road highway to watch the colossal Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, with its spire almost seeming to extend to the stratosphere. Even though you will view this grand modern marvel from a distance, the sight will leave you both speechless and awe-stricken. After having explored the glitzy and glamorous side of Dubai, the tour takes you to the old part of it, which is home to traditional markets, authentic meals and cultural experiences. En route to Dubai Creek, you are taken past historical neighborhoods where your eyes catch the sight of palaces of the royal family of Dubai. After that, pay a visit to the bustling spice and gold souks. The aroma of spice hovers in the air, while gold is displayed in ways that at times, borders on the absurd. Don’t be surprised if you come across a “neck shirt” made completely of gold! After having feasted your eyes to this visual and sensory extravagance, you will visit a souvenir shop where you can lay your hands on some rare antiques, arts, souvenirs and crafts. The last stop in the city tour is the Burj Al Arab hotel, the world’s most luxurious hotel and another of those architectural marvels that Dubai is famous for.
Next, enjoy a Dhow Creek Cruise where you are taken past the illuminated skyscrapers and other futuristic appearing buildings. Some of the most famous among these are National Bank of Dubai and Chamber of Commerce Building. Onboard the cruise, you are treated to an all-inclusive lip-smacking dinner, accompanied by soft drinks, tea and others. After having enjoyed such a lavish dinner, sit back, relax and absorb the soothing ambience enveloping you as Arabic and English tracks flow smoothly in the background. The half day Dubai city tour & Dhow cruise with dinner finally comes to an end.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
